Honourary Membership presented to MLHS lawyer

At our Annual General Meeting on May 5, 2024, our Society was pleased to present lawyer Kevin Simonett with a Lifetime Honourary Membership to the Mack Laing Heritage Society of the Comox Valley, for his tireless and dedicated work on our recent court case before the Supreme Court of BC.

Although the Supreme Court Justice ultimately ruled in favour of the Town of Comox – with conditions – the case was a unique learning experience and we are grateful to Mr Simonett and many others who worked with and for us over the years of the proceedings.
