Two excellent articles have recently appeared in the press regarding the controversy surrounding the demolition of both Mack Laing homes. Note that the Town of Comox, if it had accepted the proposal of the MLHS, would have had a small walk-in facility created, maintained and paying municipal taxes. It would have cost them nothing. Yet, somehow, they could not bring themselves to allow it. Why?
