Baybrook could be a hub for Comox parks

Dear Mayor Ives and Councillors,

We are writing as recent residents of Comox, parents and grandparents, having raised our children and now participating in the life and education of our grandchildren.  We recognise the value in developing Baybrook as a “Nature House”, a centre for education and enjoyment for all.

We would like to preserve and restore Baybrook house, Mack Laing’s first home in the Comox Valley, showcasing this beautiful place of Nature and Natural history for the benefit of young and old residents of the Comox Valley.

We are also in support of the project which will make Baybrook a hub for a Nature Pre-School, a hub for many surrounding Comox parks, the Comox estuary and in walking proximity for many young and old families residing in Comox.

We are proud to make a showcase of our heritage Baybrook neighbourhood.

We ask you to vote YES  to make this initiative a reality for  our children’s and  grand children’s futures.
